  • Christmas - at - Sea Satchel Paking Event

    Sunday, November 8, following worship

90% of global trade is transported on the world’s oceans by crew members on container ships who remain invisible to most people, yet our supply chains depend on their services and sacrifice of being at sea for six to nine months. It is an exhausting and lonely job. We invite you to spread holiday cheer among those who will not be with their loved ones. We are collecting various items to create satchels on Sunday, November 8 following worship. Around Christmastime, our port chaplains will deliver the satchels. Mariners regardless of their faith or nationality will receive satchels filled with your donations:  Check here for more information and a list of needed donations.

What might otherwise have been another lonely night at sea becomes a joyous occasion, because complete strangers share the spirit of Christmas with seafarers!

  • Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Packing Event

By filling ordinary shoeboxes full of toys and other fun items, you can be part of giving boys and girls what may be their first gift ever!
